HC-SR (Recrystallized Silicon Carbide / SiC)

This is unpressurized sintered silicon carbide ( Ceramics ). This material is superior to other SiC materials for high-temperature applications and offers both corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance.

Summary

The highest leve of service temperature and excellent corrosion resistance

HC-SR can be used up to higher temperatures than other SiC materials and is ideal for sintering applications where impurity contamination must be avoided.
It has excellent thermal shock resistance against rapid heating and cooling and is resistant to cracking even in environments with repeated temperature cycles.
Its high thermal conductivity contributes to uniform temperature distribution in furnace and energy saving.
Because of its high resistance to chemical erosion and stable strength at high temperatures, it is widely used for firing jigs and high-temperature furnace linings.
