In April 2026, we established the Kyushu Advanced Materials Development Center in Omuta, Fukuoka, to conduct R&D on advanced materials and create new businesses. In addition to exploring materials that will support the next generation, we will promote R&D activities for thermal control technologies centered on negative thermal expansion materials, as well as energy conversion materials. We will also advance rare earth and rare metal refining and recycling technologies, with the aim of creating new products and businesses.
