Mitsui Kinzoku's Engineered Liquids is a solution of rare metals made into liquid form by our proprietary technology, overcoming the characteristics of rare metals' insolubility. Types of functional liquids
Engineered Liquids fall into two main categories: ICONOS™ and MIYABIKO™.
iconos™
This liquid dissolves difficult-to-dissolve elements, mainly rare metals.
Hard-to-solubilize elements can be mixed, coated, or compounded as liquids rather than powders.
MIYABIKO™
Inorganic clear coating for building materials.
It protects building materials from the environment while providing them with stain resistance, making them maintenance-free.

corrosion resistance
The surfaces of graphite and metal materials are modified with high-melting-point compounds derived from ICONOS™ to significantly improve corrosion and heat resistance compared to the uncoated state, thereby extending the service life of components.
antifouling
A solution of inorganic composite compounds that imparts antifouling properties to the surface of building materials (glass, exterior wall tiles, etc.)

Film Deposition Characteristics
Applied to the surface of various substrates and particles, it facilitates the deposition of various elements in a halogen-free manner and enables the synthesis of composite compounds only by mixing with rare metal solutions in the sol-gel method. It can be used as a substitute for metal alkoxide raw materials for semiconductor materials, protective films, battery materials, etc.
